And we don't mean porn, for once!
The history of sex in mainstream film is a parellel history of our world, whether pushing boundaries or simply reflecting what's been going on behind closed doors for years.
Our guests this week are film critic Alex Fitch, who'll be unveiling his new website any time now, and Havana Marking, film editor of Scarlet.
On Monday we went to a screening of Kinsey, starring Liam Neeson, courtesy of Fox. Alfred Kinsey was a true pioneer in the world of sex research, and a reminder that the sixties are well overrated in terms of 'where it all began'. We'll be discussing the movie in more detail on Sunday, but just to say it's good, and well worth seeing. It opens in the UK in March.
We'll also be discussing 9 Songs. Sadly I can't get to see it before Sunday, but Kim and Alex will fill us in with erudition and style, rest assured.
But we won't just be covering the latest releases. As always, we want to hear from you. What's your favourite sex scene in a movie? Do you think the days of celluloid sex are numbered, simply because you can get as much full-on porn as you like online? Or has the porn revolution actually helped the cause of artistic eroticism?
Join us on Sunday 27th February, 11.30pm - 12.30am GMT, on Resonance 104.4 FM in London, and Resonancefm.com everywhere else. You can email us at the address on the left, and you can text us during the show on 07957 362 182.
See you there.
ANOTHER ART NEWSFLASH!
Kim and Alex have been commissioned, by Big Finish Productions, to write an episode of Doctor Who. Go guys, nice one. Maybe they'll slip a part for me in there. Hmm, leather Dalek, anyone? ;-)
But wait! Not to be outdone, here is me aged ten, with my favourite Doctor Who, Tom Baker. This picture was taken at a charity cricket match at, I think, Burghley House in Leicestershire, after which you could have your picture taken with any of the team members. I think I asked him 'Why aren't you wearing your long scarf?' Aaaah...
